Had a invite for a mooch out with Netman today jumped at the chance as my place is a rabbitless quagmire at the moment .Took 3 ferts today,2 jills & hob,Andy had his stocky poley hob & albino jill,no nets required from me as Netman lives up to his name,plenty of nets & quickset longnets to be used.

 

We arrived at a wooded area with plenty to go at & we got off to a decent start with 5 in the bag however the next few sets produced nothing,so off we moved to some decent hedge sets further along on his permission.From one hedgeline & corner set we accounted for another 16 fat,healthy winter rabbits with all 5 ferts working well together until the 2 hobs met up in a hole & i had to pull them out & seperate Andy's hob from my hobs neck but no damage done to either heavyweight hob.

Only found 1 doe with the start of babies in her so still a couple of weeks left in the North East yet

Thanks for the invite out Andy,really enjoyed the day out & a decent number of rabbits taken home

looks like a nice day out lads,was up mine this afternoon,still a load of snow,found a few nice sets,got me quick set nearly done, ,no sign of the spade today andy,buggers must of been bolting ,just hope we all have a good end to the season,not long left,well done lads
