redeye jedi 39 Posted February 14, 2010 Report Share Posted February 14, 2010 i use an old keep net pegged out in the river works for me. try the sunday roast carcase or a few pidgeon carcases, anything will work for you if you have good numbers to aim at. i set in the evenings and check first thing in the morning before work. mattyg 1,862 Posted February 14, 2010 Report Share Posted February 14, 2010 you may want to try a purpose made crayfish trap from ebay! we usually buy a few tins of the cheapest nastiest tuna and just pierce it a good few times with a knife and use that as bait....lasts ages and they cnt actually eat it! works for us in the warmer months. we usually avaerage 30ish a day in the summer. chuck em in 1 day ,check em next morning! hope this helps! cheers, matt Quote Link to post
