Off Lamping

Right so we set out lamping last night, i'd been sat in the local with my fiancé and had a few pint but decided it was wrong not to go! My mate zero'd the rilfe in earlier in the day and I got home for about 5:30pm, we set off on foot to our local shoot at around 5:45, the light was perfect for rabbits.

We got there got set up and started to wonder, the first time dez stuck the lamp on it was on a rabbit, I aimed, shot and 1 in the pot.

We swapped over and carried on mouching around - I got the lamp on a bunny for him but he missed unfortunatley.

We were using dez's air arms s400 .22 that we had used on a previous hunt and was down to about 110 air, I put it down to this, we swapped again and he lit me up a bunny at fairly close range - I aimed and dropped it, 2 in the bag.

With real doubt about the zero due to air we had a quick mooch round and I lamped dez one which he inturn bagged! at the we called it a night due to the air and the fact we were shooting to eat tonight and we now had 3, plus one in the freezer. My partner is going to knock us up a rabbit keema so that will be nice. We were home for 7pm adn set about skinning, gutting and de-boneing, job done:
