hobs neck

just been and picked up a 8munth old albino hob, hes been fighting with anouther hob where he was and his neck is a little saw and scared. I cant get anywhere to buy any antiseptic spray till tuesday, would I be able to use sudacrem on it altho its for humans? or will just keeping it clean be alright?

Warm salty water usually does the trick. Depends how bad it is.

just make a saline solution (salt water) up & bathe it if its bloody

its not bloody its healin, just wanted a way of keeping it clean and away of keeping infection out/away really. thanks for the info i was thinking of that, now comfermed il be doing it thnx

If its scabbed over it should be ok regarding infection

I use sudacream on all neck bites, rub it well in so it gets past the fur,

nice one stubby didnt know if it would do more harm than good with it been a human cream, but now someones comfurmed they use it with no problems il put a dab on and rub it in good, thnx.

If your putting him in with other ferrets they will usually keep it clean by licking it ,you just got to watch they dont over do it .

Sudocreme or savlon mate, any thing used on humans was tested on animals first to prove safety, generally most meds work on animals in the right dosage, vet advise there mate.
