Jumping

alright lads i have a 7mnt old saluki/greyhound X greyhound/bull and i want to get him jumping have i left i too late to teach him? and also how do i teach him?

Start off with a small fence/wall. Put him on one side of it and yourself on the other side of it and call him. Im assuming that his recall is sorted by the way. If he does ok great, find a slightly taller fence/wall and do it again. If he dont seem sure offer him his favourite treat as a reason to jump over. Another way is to have him on a lead run up and jump over the fence/wall yourself. Make it fun and make a lot of fuss over him when he does it right and DONT get frustrated/angry if he fluffs it.

if its in a run put a board across the doorway and at feeding times open door and let him out if he wants his food he will jump no problem dont make it to big to start off with
