Recommend me a pellet

Looking for advice on a .177 hunting pellet to use with a BSA .177 Hornet

Was wondering about the Bisley magnum? Dont want to spend a fortune buying loads and trying them all so a few pointers would be great

Depends a lot on quarry , and range,you will need a different pellet to shoot a rabbit at 30yds to a farm pigeon at 10yds. It really does pay to try out different shaped pellets - they all have their good and bad points.

However if i was to go for an all rounder i would probably go for the crossman'accupel' pretty accurate and some decent stopping power for some longer range quarry. for close range ratting or pigeons id go for a hollow beeman'crow magnum'

i use them in pcp's and my springers very good alrounder pellet but on close up stuff they will go through i use mine upto 50yrds buddy with no worries of a clean kill

i use H&N FTT, nice and accurate and some good stopping power at longer range.

Hi, mate.

 

I used Mags/Barracudas (same thing) for a goodly few years in .177 and really can't fault them. They hold their energy much better than most at range and if your gun likes them, you won't go far wrong with them.

wor kid (Festa) uses Bisley mags in his with cracking results!

I used Bisley Magnums when i had my .177 Verminator and they were very good mate.
