i am going to meet this dog 2moz morning and i was wondering what breed you lot thought..... i think she has defo got staff in her and i think the other breed is basenji...... what do you think she is????

could be 3/4 staff 1/4 akita then id say theres a slim chance it would have basenji in it.

how old is it mate ?? and what will you use her for?

she is about 18 months old im just gonna wait and see what she is like???

 

i know what your saying about it being basenji its just she has the wrinkles in her forehead as well as about the right height when i meet her i will have a better idea if she has basenji in her by her traits....

 

could i ask why you think akita???

if you look at the ears and the tail, they sit alot like an akita if it is this x then it will draw in the muzzel as it looks like in the bitch. i maybe wrong .... would anyone else have a isea what it maybe??

i dont know if she can bark i am meeting her 2moz i dont want her for anything unless she shows she is keen.... if that makes sense

 

what would you guys use her for or would you need to see what she is like or can you just go off breed??

My Ma and Pa used to breed basenjis and the face, ears and tail are similar as is the size. They were jetfighter fast and used to grab squirrels no prob. The africans used to use them to hunt deer type animals. Imparla etc
