NOT hammered at all,- they'd not go there for nothing.

Look at the other heat ran last night,- perfect conditions, 5 - 3 caught. ! Not a bit of bad feeling there.

No your wrong, no bad feelin here mate I stuck it out shook the lads hand at the end of the night. Before this gets out of hand I have told everyone exactly how the night went that's what people wanted to no. Gin you don't no how frustrating that was for me. Listen to what am sayin, from Stirling to liverpool to Newcastle bak to Liverpool. I done that on the thought it would benefit myself dan an the comp by runnin on land where the runs would be. Now I no if I would have stayed at home I could have went 50miles away an atleast got the dogs panting. Seriously your not thinkin into it. I'd have rather been beat by 10 just so I could have seen some sport. It was PATHETIC!! Am done on this now. Good luck in the final to both it would be an absolute shame if it's a repeat of last night..

s h you dont need to explain yourself ive saw both of your dogs run with my dogs on some permision ,ive gave both of youse sport , any hecklers well they should be in it lol, sh forget about it its a few rabbits and well tou met some guys and guys like myself , it maybe on nexy year but just need to se the profit the paying out and putting people up etc and getting them looked after to get good sport all the best

eejit head i have a comp every nite im out as its no game getting pulled and all that lol ps to do it [bANNED TEXT] you have to pay money like the mlrc yoused to do , the rabbits are there and well you have good sport , a bit ferreting bushing lamping , i have freinds down your way who if i was to ask would put it on , like the proper nlrc lurcher finals , its not fair on competitors who pay money take time out to not get achance , i no youse have tried etc but well you maybe [bANNED TEXT] , and it best left were it is as it will not get better ,but if you want too do a real job i have freuinds like d slieght and other good guys WITH GOOD KNOWLEDGE to help, up to you

gin i have hunted along time and you no what lands good or not like were i stay if its been disturbd walked over its called feild craft and expieerence what doent come with age its with going out and learning and traveling ,i coul;d take you out any nit and get you game ,but i know what nites suit and were , you no i hav eover the years had several and put game in front of there dogs , you cant do that without knowing were to go and when , run along mate , if you going have acomp first thing you do is get theland to suit and try and wrap it up early doors and early season when the game s there all the best

i`m not really interestd in the lamping comp , with all the shit that went on last year . what i will say is its a pity some of the lads that come out of the woodwork on the lamping comp threads it would be nice to see you contribute to the rest of the site its going down hill fast and needs your in put ...

its not the winning or what dogs done this its whats on offer that counts a young man travels along way ,and gets taken to land thats no better than on his doorstep , i would be dissapointed , big style i would be thinking what the f**k am i doing here , a long way for awalk and four or five rabbits , im ahunter so i hunt i chase what i see and well we are all diffrent ,along way to come to end a comp ,if your going to take people money and take them on your permision you better have game for them or a great exuse i take people on my boat fishin if its poor give them a refund or a free day when its good , to me it doesnt matter who one its how its organised and whats on offer full stop ,i mean the amount of people on here who catch bags of game you think some would be able to take them out if i had agreat abundace of rabbits i would be ,getting them on and get the thing moving ,but were i am better for good ferreting dogs , full stop , its ashame realy the way its went but if it was real good i would be the first one to say well done lads and give them anites hunting , such is life

First and foremost i'll tell you this will be my only post on this thread!!!!

 

This lamping comp is not a field trial, the forley or waterloo cup, it's not scored on turning, retrieves, numbers killed its meant to be a simple lamping competition, so all this talk of field trials, paying for land etc is shite.......... ........Now the numbers just dont hit the same when its being run alternate slips and you've got to wait for the other dog to retrieve and be put back on a slip before the other dog goes....... ........i'll give you an example if this, some of the heats last year had a circuit that produced 40 rabbits in total, the same circuit without the restrictions of alternate slips, has produced 70s and 80s on a regular basis even in march....... ........yet at the start of a season it managed 40!!!!!! When maxhardcore and singlehanded ran their heat, i believe this was on the dales (correct me if i'm wrong) now i ran Rew there last year and i think the score was something like 20-18!!! The score between max and SH was 11-10, maybe not the same farm but still similar ground, also the same type of land thats had the magic 100 taken off it, although that wasn't 3 hours lamping!!! So as frustrating as the numbers issue seems, thats something thats out of anyones hands, like it or not!!!!!!! Last night was a shit night for game on the ground and we did all comment on it at the time, I cant control people driving fields and neither can whin, as a poacher whin i'm sure you go on ground you aint meant to be on, thats the nature of it, so how you gonna stop that.......thats not a question though you have to answer ok....... .......and the problem with going deep into the counrtyside the side of northumberland we were on is you're gonna risk getting caught, dont take my word for it, mally and dogs n natives will tell you, we went out on permission land and still within 30 mins of being on it were chased off by the farmer after a confrontation!!!! The land i go on with jultaylor, is another place hit by poachers and these boys dont just tell you to leave, you end up leaving with a dead dog!!!!! So yeah we could've ventured further into northumberland till you cant see a single street light, but people still live there and dont take kindly to uninvited guests....... .....the land we went on is pretty safe when it comes to getting dogs shot and the worst thats happened is being told verbally to leave, i can only imagine the shit i'd be getting now if i took him out on some land and his dog got shot or we all got locked up....... ........The land we went on does produce rabbits, they aint easy ones to catch, but they are there, but like everywhere you go some nights they just aint on the ground and if thats the way it is on a night you go out on, then you just cant catch them!!!! All this talk of having a night on my land, a night on his and then one on neutral ground..........we're already behind FFS, can u imagine where we'd be in the comp if we done that for every heat that didnt hit whins expectations of a good night!!!! Now yes whin i have been up your place for the day and night and if you rember Bruce cut his back leg open during the day ferreting, so never got the chance to go lamping on yours, but what produced game that day, the ferreting or the lamping??? think we accounted for about 20 odd ferreting, but not even a quarter of that lamping, so how you gonna put rabbit numbers in front of people gauranteed??? when SH came up to yours how many rabbits did he catch on the lamp again, i'll let you tell us all the answer????? You might have plenty of game to put in front of dogs whin i dont disagree with that, but if you want to run a lamping comp on a public forum son, it can only be rabbits that count, as thats all we're allowed to do these days remember???

Hope thats you bein sarcastic!!. I have no problem with you whatsoever. You come to mine anytime you want thers a place in kennel for the dog an a bed for you. We will go out a few nights on the trot an ill show you how to find stuff when its not in the place you want it to be. An all this about shootin dogs an goin to jail, sounds like you got abit of a squeeky bum we where lampin rabbits dan Tresspassin is the crime you would be commiting. Couple ££fine nothin more. Everythin i have said is the truth. You new i wernt happy an you was to set in your ways..
