easy you see the landowner tell them whats going on, go there in grey dark or in the day lite and check the ground ,make sure there game there ,if i took you on my permision i would had had a sketch the nite before and then told the local landowner to please keep any body off ,give him a bottle or be there when darkness is there its not hard mate just need to have been doing it for years ,when i used to play pool and hunt in proper lurcher competiotions ,it was well looked after and nobody was hunting it the week before when i played pool for cash i always had afew games on the table get the feel of it runs bad rools etc , when i had ldr and his freind up they had sport and if it was not end of april may they would a had real sport if there dogs were game for it , ive hunted since 79 ,obeidence feild trail watched ,learned ,coursing so you learn mate, every guy thtas hunted with me gal say well that was great , you no wht cause of expierence game knowledge and god dogs etc , now thtas what i call hunting , its asham mate see when you go in afeild and there nowt [bANNED TEXT] away you no its either bollocks or somebody disturbing the game , dony inult my intelegence as i says bring adog up and weel have abit sport , and youllget looked after

 

What a crock !! You said in a previous post that you are going to be involved in running next years comp !! (first we've heard !), but good, you run it, 'cause it's people like you who have made up LDR's mind not to run the comp next year !! Good luck with it, but remember, it's not a game of pool, or catching salmon in New Mexico !! I look forward to how next years comp does, under your guidance !

eejit head i have a comp every nite im out as its no game getting pulled and all that lol ps to do it [bANNED TEXT] you have to pay money like the mlrc yoused to do , the rabbits are there and well you have good sport , a bit ferreting bushing lamping , i have freinds down your way who if i was to ask would put it on , like the proper nlrc lurcher finals , its not fair on competitors who pay money take time out to not get achance , i no youse have tried etc but well you maybe [bANNED TEXT] , and it best left were it is as it will not get better ,but if you want too do a real job i have freuinds like d slieght and other good guys WITH GOOD KNOWLEDGE to help, up to you

as i says before charti get your self up not behind acomp and if you are serous you can come out with the dogs look at some land , im just annoyed att imes as i had 4 ooo thousand acres at cafraemill and on a september october nite could had had 4 or 5 nites without touching the same land , if you ever question my knowledge of gamenes or expeirence lol your welcome for ahunt in whins land

there maybe no next years comp without the funding the doorknocking ,how do you think the coursing things got dealt with peoples had land paid a bit money ,etc ,having a goood comp takes alot of funding [bANNED TEXT] people and for what a rabbit as aboy i said whall as aman in o diffrent , but if youse would like to have a proper one it can be done as there enough people on these sites ,who would enjoyment up to yourselves youve started the ball rollin and any help i can give youse i have the guys and no alot of landowners lo some good some not so good up to you if tyou want it run or not ,mines wouldnt be just lamping tho

Let's be honest with each other chart, the comp doesn't actually take much runnin. After the draws it runs itself to an extent. LDR started this comp of his own back which is good that somebody is willin to do it. But as I said let's be honest you can't honestly say that was lampin last night. Housing estates, street lights lightin up fields. Following footprints round fields. Come on there's bound to be somethin said. Other people lampin fair enough there really isn't much we can do about that. I travelled up an agreed to run your ground of my own back. But come on if use had travelled to me an I took use round housing estates an footpaths in fields am askin for trouble. Alright the dogs had the same runs an Bruce was 1 up, that's not what am gettin but I think if use would had listened to me after the first 20mins an headed into the countryside then maybe we could had done some lampin. Now for all the people who are going to jump on my back thinking am bitter then use couldn't be more wrong I really do wish ldr an Bruce all the best in the final. An anythin I have written here I said face to face to the lads last night.. Cheers!!

the competion has been poor very poor,Cant say there is no rabbits around as other lads posting big numbers on there permission what has gone wrong this year??

sounds worse by the moment single street lights semi public land ,with the amount of game peole catch on here lol they must be able to give guys afree nite for abit funding or a drink what a feching load of nonsense and you had to pay fifty quid to enter , i would have to have aword with my self first lol

Tony, the choice of land, as you know, was nothing to do with me; I simply did LDR a favour by judging, at short notice. I have had people stay at my house, on a few ocassions, even when I wasn't involved in the heat; I've picked people up from the train station and took them to and from their hosts,; I've judged a few times; and generaly tryed to make a go of the comp. What pisses me off is people who have no connection whatsoever with the comp, running it down !! O.K., Whin is going to run it next year, good luck to him !! I enjoyed your and your mates company last night, and yes. it's a shame there wasn't more gear about, but thats what happened !! I felt bad about it, even though it had nowt to do with me !! I got to bed after 5 this morning after sorting out my own dogs, etc, and was up again at 8 !! So the last thing I need to read is how Whin would do it better !! LOL !!

If it was really that poor a night, which it sounded, the draw should have been run over 2 nites to make it fair. Either a night at each others ground or 1 night on neutral ground preferably with decent numbers of rabbits. I don't agree with the idea of paying landowners as their must be lads with decent ground on here who take part. If it's only 2 at a time & not mob handed I wouldn't have thought it would be a problem. Good luck with the next comp if there is one
