Oh boy am I looking forward to tomorrow

 

Been on metcheck.com and the weather is looking okally dokilly for a bunny bashing session for tomorrow

 

Yeehaaaa at last the temperature is above freezing so I hope to get out early and put an end to some of the bunny frolicking in both the paddock and the cemetery

 

And Sunday the romantic Valentines Day also looks good with some good clear sunshine around dinner time

 

So hopefully I will be introducing some Lead Love to the Corvids and hopefully maybe I will be falling in love with the taste of Collard Dove or Woodie for tea

My reply was 'I was planning on doing you a new bunny bikini darling, complete with entrails to use as tie bands. and if it gets rotten then youll just have to wear your growler for all of ust to sniff, oops" see in all its glory.

On a more serious note:

 

After taking my sleeping tablet on top of copious amounts of strong continental at 10 ish last night, my wife informs me I was out of my skull in less than 20 minutes and spilled a full can of lager all over myself and the rug in the lounge

What a waste of perfectly good booze

Somehow I managed to get up the stairs and :lazy: on the floor in the bedroom

 

I woke up at just before 07:00 and felt like I had a going off in the noggin every few seconds and every time I tried to move. Then the wife started! it felt like

 

So stayed at home till I felt better, got my gear and went to go let the lil critters know what my head felt like!

 

Got the paddock about 9:45, not a thing in sight, wandered over to the bone yard, again not a sodding thing to lay my crosshairs on

Back to the paddock, set up my portable backstop, new target on it and loosed off a group of 5 Two clicks to the left brought the next group slap bang in the centre of the dot

 

Set up my hide and waited, waited and waited some more. Then out the corner of my eye I notice two Crows circling near the power lines that run through the paddock Will this be the day I loose my Corviginity?

Watched them as they landed on the wires some 60 yards away.

Not a snowballs chance in hell of getting out of the hide, getting to withing range and shooting them before they see me, glad I didnt try really as they stayed there less than a minute and they were off again towards Welton.

Then the rain started it was supposed to be good weather today!

I stayed in the hide until 12 then wandered back to the cemy, again not a thing I saw a Hawk circling the cemy, it moved over to the paddock and dived almost immediately at the far side.

Jammy f ing thing! It was down for a few seconds then rose into the air flying over me with a mouse clasped in its talons.

As I got back in the hide, the rain started again and never really stopped, just got worse, then light then heavy then light, then very cold more rain, no bunnies!

At 17:00 I'd had enough! I was freezing, my hide was letting in water I was getting wet, so called it a day and headed home empty handed.

 

Oh well, thems the brakes huh? Always tomorrow I suppose.
