DEADHORSEANDDONKEYDEALER 275
John if trapping is involved i am assuming that the traps will have to be checked at least once a day this is going to be some mileage not to mention time, over seven days Good luck and keep us informed as to how you get on
stubby 175
John if trapping is involved i am assuming that the traps will have to be checked at least once a day only if using "live catch" if its a break back type trap, fenn/kania, then no
SEAN3513 7
very interesting john....and never an easy one. dont know if you want to say who the contract is with ???....private/council etc. because imo the way you would tender would differ from client to client. as already said..........work out your overheads......fuel / ammo / traps / insurance / membership ( of any relevent bodies in ROI) i would also build in some kind of costing to cover wear and tear on any existing equipment you own and will be using ( guns etc) also a "performance" related bonus........so you get a wage for patroling the area....and you get "extra" for the amount you take / control. so in brief overheads + wage + bonus + wear and tear = somthing like what you should be charging. i would also spend a couple of days or more.....doing a proper survey of the area, you can then submit a report (with photos) highlighting any "problem " areas to justify why you have priced for............it may lose you the contract if someone else misses it, but better that than it costing you money, and it looks professional and may sway it in your favour.....it realy depends how much time you are willing to put into it, and how much you want the job !!!!! good luck.............you'll need it.....lol keep us posted with progress atb sean
