lone wolf 0
the bars are made of 20mm galvanised conduit (me being an electrician, there were easy to get)then drilled through the wood .cheers mate

lone wolf 0
Looking Good mate, what roof are you putting on it mate? and what dogs will it be housing? the roof is the one area that im not sure about, dont really want to put a tin roof on cos of noise when raining,so i am going for either the green corrugated bitumen type or the corrugated plastic i think unless someone has another idea.i was trying to let as much light in to help keep it dry through sunshine.ive got a jack russell, bedlington terrier and a beddy x whippet to go in it cheers

I don't think that would be a problem seeing how open it is. If you think it might be a problem, with the pollycarbinate its easy to take off the fixing caps and whip off a couple of panels in the summer,
Fledge 0
Fledge... if iwas you i would remove that shuttering and replace it with a wall.. . where the garden slope's otherwise when the wood is removed or rot's away the soil will come out from under the concrete base causing it to crack..Millet Yes i was too lazy to build a wall what ile do is leave a foot gap behined that shuttering at the back [bANNED TEXT] i pour in the concrete it will make a wall down to the bottom
Vermin Dropper 2
Sides or not vermin that will be dangerous in the summer with a clear roof . So you reckon it would be too hot under a clear roof even if the sides are open? I haven't had any problems with my ferret court which is like that, although it is under the shade of some large bushes, I guess if the sides were open enough to allow plenty of light you could ply board and felt the roof, that would be far better than that corrugated bitumen board rubbish. Squirrel_Basher 17,100
Bitumen sheets are false ecenomy as they warp easily in the summer no matter how many fixings.Go for the ply roof and mineral felt top mate .2 layers .
lone wolf 0
thanks guy's,the heat is not as bad a problem as it may seem cos we dont get the sun when its at its strongest, the run would get it first thing in the morning and last in afternoon
