the badgers are digging the nests out where I go, so the evidence is there to see.

we've been finding young since christmas in cheshire,we also found lots of aborted young in the snow round the same time,they don't like that snow.

went out last wk end and got a few, when i gutted them noticed one had some well developed young in her. Thats just not cricket starting this early is it.

I am in south east devon so if anyones gonna get em early it gonna be me.

we normally hang up ferret nets on valentines day cos of digging out in every set , ferrets staying on young,

this year seems it`ll be a few weeks later with most not born yet but still odd young running around in Newark area

We had a milky doe with youngsters in her between Xmas and new year, getting a lot now carrying young and not many sets producing more than 3 rabbits at present time and ferret nailed a 6wk old kit yesterday in the entrance to a hole. Also seen nests dug out by the badgers last week in Lincs

Had 25 rabbits over the weekend and all were clear..................

Yes mate just a matter of a couple of weeks around here left for ferreting, all the does carrying now.
