hi am new to this and am looking to get a terrier for ratting , rabbits , foxes am thinking a patterdale do u think this is a good dog for a beginer and also any good advice on training , plus any good breaders a could get a working petterdale pup , docked thanks

as long as its from working stock it doesnt matter what breed or colour just youre owne prefrence i have lakelands and patterdales and they all work well just look diffrent a.t.b. brog

How do you work that one out ???????? you get good terriers in most breeds just make sure there from a good working line and a genuine dog man

Im an ex plummer fan, but if you want a ratting dog then its a plummer all the way, great rabbit, bushing dogs

and if you find the right stuff they WILL work fox.do your homework and you can find one

nice 1 lads think am gona go for a patterdale looking now for pups with good working lines

my opinion is ya cant get a better terrier than a good patterdale. i got some pups what ill be ready to go in 4 weeks the sire is my patterdale and the dam is my mates lakland both working dogs and both have really good lines p.m me if ya intrested and al tell you the lines and what dogs they bred from cheers
