air gunner 0
right so recently i have had trigger problems on my bsa supersport gas ram. it started of with the gun being cocked but then not shooting luckily it could be uncocked. Now however it has got to the stage where it wont uncock or even fire so it has to be dismantled and released (very sketchy) the annoying thing is i have taken the whole trigger apart de greased and re greased as suggested and the gun will work for about 4-5 shots then stop working again. i have removed the trigger for the 5th time and cant seem to find any areas of wear. what could the problem be? this is really annoying as the gunsmith is only in shop on wednesdays and i would ideally like it for half term. so what could the problem be? could the part of the piston the trigger locks onto be the problem and if so is smoothing this a way of redeeming this? i am pretty certain the mechanism is fine as no wear however you tech gurus will know better. othickman 6
Go to a different gunsmith then. 'Cause if you can't find the problem and it's not working, it has to been seen by a professional or buy a new rifle. Quote Link to post
