polecat84 1
Medium sized carp for me any bigger than 20 lbs and there just like a dead weight on the end of the line, or following that catching little tiny carp no bigger than 2lbs when using 2lb line and a really sensitive rod great fun. Richard same here mate,me and a mate spent most of last year catching small carp on light tackle most from untouched farm ponds found using google earth and an os map and one is choked with weed and full of koi, ghosties mirrors and commons, also fished for some wild carp went like stink and they only grew to 5lbs in there,i still fish for the biggens aswell. Wild_and_Irish 11
Salmon any day but never had a sea trout (would like to get 1), in my experience though lb for lb wild brownies give the best fight on light tackle. Quote Link to post
