longdog13 36
Hi there my 3 month whippet x collie has settled in well and slept through the night since we brought her home. She would wake between 6 & 7 which was fine, but for the last week she is waking at 1.30 and going mental I let her out for a pee which she's not that bothered about and put her back in her crate she then goes crazy again. Any ideas? Never had this problem before any help would be much apprecaited. Don't get up and Give in to Her otherwise she Will have you Trained instead of you Training Her. Quote Link to post

anagallis_arvensis 2
Just to the go who said dont put the crate near the bed as you get seperation anxiety, IME your talking rubbish. My pup didnt settle well for first week, finally although I felt like a soft twat I slept on the sofa bed, with her in the crate. She was quiet straight away, two nights of that and I was upstairs in my bed agin with her downstairs. A few weeks later and she was outside at night in her kennel. To say that this leads to that with puppies is crap, you have to take each dog as it comes and be prepared to try different things with some. Quote Link to post
