I have a jrtxwhippet, 21" to the shoulder and doing all I could ask. When we got him we were told he would be too slow for rabbits and too small for anythings else, luckily neither proved to be true

Good luck withy the breeding, you might be pleasantly surprised!

Who said they were proper lurchers? the best bushing, ferreting dogs ive ever seen were mongrelised whippets, stop posting bollocks and go out hunting, maybe you will learn something, but i fukin doubt it.

i know [bANNED TEXT] whos first x bed/whip got to his sort legged jrt. With no probs he also has a pup out the litter great earth dog but got the pace for above ground. He has now put a whip now to the jrt/bed/whip a few times and never had probs so it shows its all possible thimk its just how keen the sire is and how good he is at his job.
