stubby 175
it should be pointed out to you though, she needs to be in season also, hobs tend to come into season before jills, so he maybe ragging her too soon, have you checked to see if her vulva is swollen if not, then Id remove the hob until she does come into season, otherwise you could end up with a jill with a very sore/infected neck, or even dead and then use this time to read up all you can on "breeding" once she has been in season a week or two, then put the hob back in, I tend to leave them in a good week, even longer in some cases, couple years back the hobs stayed in with the jills (court system) until the kitts were half grown Quote Link to post
Kay 3,709
Agree with Stubby the jill needs to be fully in season before she will tollerate the hobs advances... it will only cause neck injurys if she isnt ready & basically she will give him the run around In an ideal world the hob will grab the jill & she wont protest the job will be done pretty swiftly if he does his job properly you wont even know he had done it other than the slight parting of fur as he will just grab her neck to hold her & not savage it Quote Link to post
