I applied for my SGC 3 weeks ago and they only come today to inspect my cabinet,The officer said it will take a couple more weeks to arrive.

Had a few pigeons today tho with the keeper,just trying to get my eye in.

hard to say my whole process from the time i posted my letter to receiving it in the post was 2 weeks, i was very very happy hard to say it depends on where you are tho mate, hopefully wont be too long.

I had just put my certificates in on the fri had the feo round on the munday everything went well, am nt the best of shots lol

Mine was 6 weeks exactly from taking in the forms to receiving my SGC/FAC, they quoted me 6-8 weeks when I took the forms in so can't complain. It varies widely though from area to area and obviously depends on their workload/staffing level at the time.

hi mate i applied before Xmas and everything cheeked all fine but still waiting for it now its boring cant wait 2 get out but all good things come to those who wait

My SGC from sending the application of to receiving my Certificate was just over 5 months. So don't get your hopes up. But i didn't mind, I was using my head. I applied when i was 14 and a half and knowing that they would take a long time to process it, i would receive it just before my 15th birthday. So from the day i was 15 i have had a SHotgun on my certificate.

hi everyone just got it through today yas!!!! lol phoned the feo to let him no he said it must be a record also im with lothian and borders police now i can start my new job hehe thanks everyone for the replies
