Tassa 64
Bit pis**d off with the bellman reciever myself, at the start thought ti was the dogs balls but now i've realised its totally crap for pinpointing. Bellman will read to 0.2m but it will give you that reading over a big area on top of the ground leaving you to bar a lot to find your dog. Quote Link to post

Guest GoneToGround1
leec i have a barryvox pulse and ortovox reciever. if i were you id get the barryvox pulse and bellman collar ill be changing to bellman collar soon as i can afford one. iv used the orto transmitter all season its great i just dont like the velcro collar it seems a bit big and i dont like the way you have to knock it on and off...ill be getting the new bellman collar heard the barryvox pulse and bellman collar is the most accurate setup on the market at the moment. also the barryvox is quicker than the bellman... dog fox 16
for those people who have the bellman box and have had it for 2 years or so can send it to pieps and they will update the firmware which should make it quicker and maybe more accurate ,dont no how much they charge .the bellman box has been on the market for some years now and to be honest i dont no which version of the peips box they are selling at the moment but its definatly worth looking into ,if you go on the pieps website it explains on what boxs can be updated but i bet bellman are still selling the old version for the same price pieps are selling the newer version look on link device update hope this helps http://www.pieps.com/en/pieps-dsp.html Edited February 10, 2010 by dog fox Quote Link to post

The ortovox collar is still narrower against the dogs neck than the new B+F? and you don't like the way you have to turn the on and off switch on the ortovox, on and off??? are you kidding? The ortovox collar still gives a tighter pin point area than the new B+F Bryan Quote Link to post
