out piking yesterday for a while

well the 3 of us set out again for a little lake in fermanagh.

we started fishing about 11am (after having to go back for the oar locks) and fished untill half 3pm. (we were frozen at this stage)

7 pike in total caught the biggest being 11.5 lb

i have to say we missed about 4 fish. mostly spinning/trolling but there was a deadbait out the back of the boat but to no avail.

At least your out having the CRACK nice fish at the end the river's are flooded and BROWN in colour so im just waiting for it to get back to normal and hopefully il get some BIG PIKE before the season end's

 

Those REED BED'S look like they could hold a few along them just waiting for the ATTACK

well done pal and good pics, all this reading about other folk catching is making me wanting to get out at them but the dogs are getting in the way and to be honest its abit too cold for me, atb lads and hopefully ile have afew pics myself soon,

not that much movement but there was some. any fish that was caught was caught on the margins

good on yea.i was down at muckno yesterday with 2 mates.we ware on White island and never got a run.we ware their from 7.30 till 4.30.we had 6 rods out between us and got nothing

Muckno is played out, ya want to be trying some of the other lakes in the area, I know its a huge water and still holds some very large Pike, but I think ya have a better chance of winning lotto

i did last year.i think lough erne is the best spot.any way thats ware we will be doing most of are fishing this year.
