I am not one hundred percent sure but i think my dog has got cystitus.

 

She is drinking a fair ammount of water, she is also urinating very frequently although very little in volume.

 

Any constructive advice would be most welcome

It may be cystitus or could also be a uterus infection. A vet trip would probably be best as she may need a course of antibiotics. Cranberry extract tablets from the health food shop will also help.

Has she been spayed? If not and has been in season in the last 2 moths, Id say VET ASAP, could have Pyometra and it WILL kill her if not treated quickly. Dogs dont usually drink a lot when they have cystitis, its usually seen as bitch trying to wee all the time and not doing much but they do wee blood.

Or it could be shes diabetic,

i would see the vet tbh, if it is cystitus

then cranberry tabs are good to give - but over all she would probably need ABs.

I think you are right ,a proffessionals verdict is needed.

 

The dog seems to drink more when she is taken out.

 

I have not seen any blood in her urine.

 

I am beginning to think she could have diabetes.
