whip x grey 276
Just out of interest, How do you stop your dog from running into the lure lads? (so the lure machine is sitting at side )--- u build a spindle,,,,usally use the centre off a bike wheel,(i think thats called a spindle also ?),,attach it to metal pin,,, or go for cheaper option,,,use pegg with circler head (decent size as it takes abit off strain and need to be well pegged into ground),,,put string threw there,,,,and have couple off smaller ones coming off the spool,,,,helps to feed string on spool,,,save,s alot off tangling if unable to use a spindle,,,,people just make sure they stop lure,,,plenty off time before lure machine, best thing if there,s a track near u,,,best going along to have a look at their,s,,,,they come in all shapes and sizes but the princable is the same,, Edited February 9, 2010 by whip x grey Quote Link to post

Tom Pickering 28
Heres a cuple of lures which we use with the dogs.. We use pre ingaged starter motors from the old metero, never use a battery just connect straight on to the car with the leads. Found the best spools are the ones which are used around the wire fences of sheep fields. Good luck with yours Tom Quote Link to post
