out fishing with the lurcher

hello lads/lasses i was out yesterday with two of my mate fishing and took my dog with me, she was miering when we was setting up so i had to tie her to a tree untill we was sorted. after everything was sorted i decided to take her for a little walk along the brook and noticed her taking an interest in the moore hens and coots so i let her off and she coursed a few with no luck (obviously) lol but it was still fun to watch it. has anyone ever watched your dog do this if so have they had anyluck catching them? in the end we only ended up catching one fish and we called it a night.

My mates whippet has to be leashed around the local streams as she is constantly lifting ducks from them if she aint also seen partridge taken on the lamp but i would rather leave them be my self .

took my bitch fishing once she was stood on the bank side, a salmon jumped and she was straight in after it, was swimming for 10 minutes looking for it lol. she also chased a fox into a a flooded river one night when out lamping, she was fighting with it in the water while getting swept down by the current, luckily for the fox it hit a different current and got swept over to the other side and was away before the dog got over. if you lamp accross the river now you see it every night, stuck over the other side. it is a big dog fox.
