I have 4, a greyhound that is just a pet, a retired 8 year old bitch, a 14 week old pup and a 3 1/2 year old bitch who does all the work she can til my pups old enough to work. As long as you can look after them properly then have as many as you wish.

anymore than 2 aprt from retired dogs, your sacreficing quality for quantatiy. two brilliant dogs are better than 3-4 or more average ones

I have got 1 terrier and 2 running dogs and thats anough u dont need any more unless u have got the work for them

i have a sulkie whippit 2 years old and 2 bullx pups 6 month

i know keepers who have like 9 dogs i think its f*****g mad!! it just depends on the time you have and the work you have for the dogs

i've always kept dogs in pairs..company for each other as well as work mates..although am down to 1 just now an have been for a while(wife havin another baby)..but al be lookin for another pup this summer..cheers..chris..

I have 4 two lurchers and two springers though i could be happy with just two its [bANNED TEXT] dogs start getting old and you know its not fair on the old lurcher to keep doing all the running.It makes a difference to justify how meny dogs you keep on the type of employment you are in as time for your dogs is the most important factor in keeping them.atb dell

own a livery yard along with 4jacks 2 patterdales 2 plummers 1 springer 1 g.w.p 4 saluki x greyhound and 1 whippet pup and one lazy bull mastiff x irish wolf hound meant to guard dog she the size of a small dinosaur but cudnt harm a poxy fly.all work between me and my father inlaw
