Grey Squirrel Poll

Recommended Posts

I've just picked up (this) story from google.

It seems that there are some rabid antis voting like mad on there to stop the control of grey squirrels.

If you can vote in favour of culling, and publicise the poll on other forums etc it would be good.

Im flat out in Northumberland, and I belive im having a good impact on their numbers.

Its well known that the greys favour the broadleaves, so if we want to keep the reds alive in england, we need to try our best.

doesnt matter what the bunny huggers say, we know it was going to be a emotional for them, but an essential job like this, is not going to be stopped, not yet anyway, no matter how much the anti's call it cruel.

Has anyone managed to post this anywhere else? We need to win this one; it's the type of thing quoted ("in a recent poll").

If members here could post the link on other sites and PM their pals it would be good.

We need votes, and as quickly as possible!

those vermin eat the eggs of the robin, black bird, wren, just to mention a few. the damage they do to hundred year old oaks is unrepairable. i go hunting once a week for these vermin because of the said damage they do, the farm has now got a very health population of wood peckers which have move back in because the squirrel is no longer a predator to they, how would you feel if the little native robin became extincted because the squirrel had been a load to carry on unhindered, you have know idea what that cute furry vermin does what so ever. thank god for the vermin controls of Briton

We seem to be losing this one badly....

Just to clarify, the poll asks if the cull is justified. If you agree, vote yes.

I've just voted again (I know, but all's fair in war) by using internet explorer after I originally voted on firefox. Just an idea........
