We had a fair bit of sport although the rats were bolting straight into the water and it took a while for us to work it out. Once we started watching the water too we had a few, a couple Ollie caught in the water or I got with the catty and a couple the other dogs caught as they bolted on dry land. The owner asked me to get one of the drakes of the pond too, which was a bonus! Catapults are very handy things! The only downer on the day was an early finish due to one of the best terriers having a near collapse due to the work, the cold and the swimming. She was ok in the end though after a bit of TLC and some lucozade. A few pics Quote Link to post

I also forgot to mention, the terriers flushed a mink from a huge bonfire heap next to the flight pond. They lost it into cover very quickly but at least the owner now knows its there so he can get a trap or two out. Thanks to herdwick and his cousin for the invite Quote Link to post

She put so much into chasing those ducks up and down and she hasnt got a lot of fat reserves to fall back on but after a good rub down, some grub and a blanket in front of the fire she is back to normal.
