Alright folks I went and got some new pellets and while I was there noticed they had an smk led tactical gun light just wondered if there any good because its pay day on tuesday and im thinking about getting one the box says its good for 100meters I think this is bull shit but if it will do 40 meters for shooting bunnys then this will do me fine there £35 so not a lot of coin and they look tidy enough just hope its up to the job any info would be much appreciated cheers.

Havent seen the SMK one mate, but i do own a Tracer Stinger.

 

They are good little lamps and work well for medium range vermin control 25 - 30 metres pal but please be carefull about the batteries as they will only last for one half nights lamping session.

 

They are also quite expensive batteris for what they are.

 

Better is you can get a re-chargable one mate.

Could you not negotiate with the shop and get them to let you try it out for a night or even such an hour after dark? Maybe a deposit?

cheers si I am hoping to get the lamp it is already got battries with it use them and if the lamp is ok il buy two sets of rechargeable batteries and a charger and I thought if I buy it and its not good enough for what I need then I will take it back the next day and tell them that its no good as it says for lamping up to 100yds on the box so if it is not able to shine rabbits eyes up at 30-40yds then there must be a fault and see if they will refund the money its got to be worth a try thanks for the replies guys much appreciated.
