not happy with new pellets

Recommended Posts

Well dicided to try some new pellets after reading on here that alot use them and get great results the pellets were aa field diablo's in 177 for my aas410 I have allways used acupell but fancied a change so off I went with my new pellets to my small holding to set my sights to the new pellets opened the tin and every pellet is in piss poor condition all the skirts are out of shape and dissformed and half wouldnt fit in the mag.I just wondered is this a one off or have outher people had this as well I know that every tin of pellets has a few but this full tin is f****d some more than outhers but none are perfect if its a one of il stick with them and try anouther tin but if they are regularly in this condition im going back to the acupell cheers for reading guys and look forward to your replies.

Hello mate, I used to use these little fellas or RWS Superfield which are exactly the same as the AA diablo fields... The skirt is a soft one but thats part of their accuracy and adaption to the barrell I feel. However I havent had a bunch as bad as that, I can put up with the odd ruined one or whatever but they are expensive buddy and I would go back to the shop and exchange them. The guys at the shop wont have a problem if you explain you know its not their fault; but at the same time they arent fit for use. Plus they will just send them back to the manafacturer themselves as I'm sure its not unheard of back at the main depots.

Let us know what you do

I can't say I rate them too much with this particular gun! I used the AA Diablo's 4.52'S, also used the JSB Exacts 4.52's and both seem to have a good few flyers, plus as posted above there was a good few well out of shape in the AA tin...

Finally tried some Barracuda's which although are a bit heavier are pretty stable in this rifle.....

Send them back and tell the shop "They are unsuitable for the purpose" that you bought them for

If they refuse to exchange or replace them; then they are breaking the law and you then contact Trading Standards.

It may not be the fault of the shop, but your contract is (in the eyes of the UK law) with the person/shop that you paid for them.

The shop will (probably) be happy to exchange or refund them for you.

I use AAF's most of the time and as with any other manufacturers I've tried there have been the odd one or two (maybe more) that have been damaged.

But a full tin? :icon_eek: I would deffo take them back
