andri 73
Hunting with hounds will still be granted under legislation but as far as us lurcher men, our days have gone imo. It will be interesting to see if the hunt brigade back us hunt supporters as we have them for the past few decades. atb andri Quote Link to post
jacob 28
the only problem is david cameron has said this week that he would be putting forward that all aids suffering people of africa would be welcome here for treatment thats alot MORE people over here Quote Link to post
bendrover 556
Put it this way, hunting with dogs will outlive the silly tw4ts that voted to ban it! That silly fat "bolemic" Prescott and theiving hippo-chin Morley will be just a vague memory come the turn of the next century, but i would bet my bottom dollar that there will be still lads out there with the hunting passion burning deep in their souls. Thats what the fools in the Labour Party cannot understand, its not about law, its about something inside that has been there since we crawled out of water and stopped laying eggs! One way or the other we are all hunters at heart, just that in some it burns brighter than others....JD Quote Link to post
ACEPACK 5
I think everybodys takeing it for granted that the tories are going to win the next election Stranger things have happened. Dont matter who gets in Dell, may as well vote "raving monster looney" couldnt make a bigger balls up than this lot imo. Acepack some things have been hot for a long time. I agree Steve but like you i have been doing it since i was a boy and nobody bothered me was born out in the country and it was the way for some of us. Quote Link to post
ACEPACK 5
First may I say I hate politics always have done I am proud to say that I am the son of a miner and my grandfather and his father to was a miner,Being born and bred in the Cynon Valley It has always been instilled into me to vote Labour, and up until 15 Years ago I probably still would have. The Hunting Ban turned me over night, also the handling of the foot and mouth, and the way this government in general treats the rural way of life,we are like shit on their shoes, they would rather look after antis and badgers than old folk or country people. Voting Tory might not bring life back to normality for us,but any progress is better than what You will get from Labour if they get back in,because if they do I don't think they have finished with us Yet,what next snares ,illegal to hunt rabbits, and rats with dogs. Will I be voting Tory ????? Your bloody right I will STOP HUNTING I WOULD RATHER SHOVE A WASP UP MY ARSE Like you Heart of Wales all my family have been and is still in the construction industry Labour used to be good for the minors, building and Constuction how things have changed Tory for me!! Goose Dog 2
lets do our own election, count as you go. I will start, me and my wife vote TORY thats 2 ! Quote Link to post
berty1 8
You have to bare in mind its not Cameron who will overturn the ban he will put it to open vote, now the thing is that if the Tories get in there will be more seats held by the govening party, labour pushed it passed the house of Lords because they held a majority seat so bring in the ban, the reverse will happen if the tories get in, the ban may not be completely overturned but if it takes the heat of every man with a lurcher I will be happier even if it can be done via coursing clubs on permission. I will be happy even if they get labour out as Labour have taken us into the second major recession and fuxd this country ! I will do what I do regardless ! ban or no ban Totally agree. and Same as!!! Quote Link to post
Guest 2GOOD
looks like the country will go to the polls in may, and more than likely the tories will win, they reckon they w ill overturn the ban soon after gettin in power, what do people on here believe will happen, will it be registerd hunts only,or will they just scrap the ban and return to how things were ?,personally just cant believe any word that comes out of any politicians mouth, you just cant trust convulsive liars.what do you think? rabbits and rats ,unless you have a very special licence ,and us low lifes wont be intitled to one of them ,so i will continue to print my own . steveS.Yorks 161
I wont vote Tory, not EVER.It wont do no good anyway they wont do anything for the ordineary bloke regards hunting or anything else. And as much as hunting means to me i think there are more serious issues facing this country, like "i dont want my grandaughter to eventually have to wear a Burqua" Get things in perspective lads, its not just hunting we are losing its our whole country/way of life. The same traitors opposing hunting are the same people who are giving this country to the immigrants, weird how they say hunting is "abnormal" "cruel" and then support a cult that stones women and lets 54 yr old blokes have sex with 9 yr old girls, strange very strange. ps dont want this to turn into a muzz bashing thread but this is relevant. Night_Runner 0
In my eyes The ban will never ever be repealed and to be honest i dont really want it to either. I think if the ban does get repealed the only people thatr will benefit are organsised hunting packs , All i can see happening if the hunting ban is overturned is more laws and complications to the adverage Lurcherman or terrierman,, Or even ferreters. At the moment weve got bad press already but can still go about like there is no ban. That is my opinion on the matter. NR Quote Link to post
shagydog 3
Foxhunting back to normal, greyhound coursing very very outside chance, the hunting laws will be used to the full and most likely penalties for poaching, coursing without permission or ordineary lads digging will be increased, its the smart move, they can weigh one off aginst the other. IE: "we are only allowing recognised/licenced proffesionals to hunt, but strongly curbing any illegal/cruel practices" Not that Joe public knows the difference anyway, not that there is any really. Probably they will come up with some bullshit study saying the wild mammals have suffered/increased and become a problem, because of the ban as well. Lets see if the hunts join the next march in support of those that backed them, dont hold your breath. when is the next march pal Quote Link to post
chewton 7
It is impossible to prevent discreet lurcher work whatever the law says. Quote Link to post
