i have seen ginny run and she was probly best dog ive seen!on the ground we lamped it wasnt full of bunnies but but it was getting more and more ahead of my dog and if we had a good haul to go at would of probly easy doubled what my dog would have got, it all boils down to how many bunnies are around how fit your dog is and retrieve helps alot.

you forgot to mention the legend 4x4 lol with out it he would not get half of what he catches.

You have realy got to give a bit more credit to the lamping dogs of the past that could catch big bags because dont forget they were no 2 million candel power lamps about then and most lamps would have been home made jobs.As we noticed the difference [bANNED TEXT] we started using the 200,000 Q beam lamps in the early 80s at the side of less powerfull lamps.atb dell

were are the minshaw pics of today and how come near on every pic shows 2 dogs? AND HOW COME when asd and mb put up a £500 open challenge and i excepted they cocked..........no ifs buts or maybes they cocked fact,also fact ive waited all january to run m.b for £1000 and guess what he cocked.he harassed me with texs and soon as january came he cocked messers

tommo your a 3rd party who is concerning your self in others business fact minshaws got there rep as doubled up dogs,fact i accepted the challenge and was declined fact i waited all january to run m.b, fact ive had no calls of m.b through january do you want my mobile statements for january........ 2nd hand gossip is cheap,ive accepted challenges off people all over the country and ive run every one of um,and won which was a bonus seeing im only intrested in testing my dogs,plenty of people on this site have hunted with me an no the crack,not intrested in your opinion anyway seeing as its based on gossip,and i never said i had better dogs and i never asked for these challenges,but i was more than willing to run either of them,they no the score anyway if they aint got the balls to tell the truth so be it,i wont be loseing any sleep over it............ill be to busy making the most of the season,

Dont want to get involved in dick wagging and can only speak about my dogs(minshaw blooded)but to say they only catch doubled up is just silly, ofcourse they can put respectable bags away single handed, on the lamp, but for the ones i ran ,(you must remember these are lurchers not sighthounds) and were only 50/50 at most, but i can honestly say not one of them could have caught a proper daytime hare, not with the slips the fen lads give, not a chance, now they all caught hunted up hares or 30 yarders(sometimes lol)but as for 100 yards or more on a running Jan/Feb hare that the sighthound saturated lurchers get, the dogs would have looked foolish,but as i say that was just mine, others were probably better.I have said it loads these were/are lamp dogs not daytime dogs

I don't really want to get involved in all this bedlam but i don't re-call seeing any of your pictures from ANY era leec so why ask for recent pics of someone else's catches? I've seen what i believe to be fantastic dogs both day and night,i would go as far as to say i've owned one or two myself but their hauls will remain in my memory but it's always nice to see a few photographs of dogs and their catches as the forum would become pretty stale without them in my opinion?.All the best PP.
