Is it worth upgrading from lightning gasram to theoben evo

Evening folks, having never fired a decent air rifle ,can I ask how good are Theoben Evolutions, I ask as I am a lefty and struggle to find a comfy fit other than my bsa lightning gas ram. I wonder as I'm really thinking about selling her for a evo.

I'd appreciate any advice from the wise guru's on here.

Hi, mate.

 

I've a Lightning with a ram fitted and it's still crap, if a little less crap than before. They are what they are, basic, badly made but for some strange reason lot's of folks rave on about them. The very early ones were UK built and were ok but they've been built in Spain now for a long time and are not a patch on what they once were...

 

The Evo's in a different league. Try and have a go with one, or something similar and you'll soon see.

i have 2 theoben evo's 177 and .20 i am selling the evo .20 matey as i got it for my lad and hecant get on with it as it's my fault in away as he has only ever shot pcp's it has the thumbhole stock as well looks very nice buddy its in the forsale section matey but very nice guns buddy

thanks for that fellas, I'll try and track down one to try, even considering going .177!
