Im sure this has been asked before but i cant find it on the search, do mk2 locators pick up mk1 collars? and vice versa?

mk1 box will pick up m1 collars & mk3 collars, mk3 reciever will only pick up mk3 collars wouldnt touch a mk2 so dont know mate, good result today for you ,,let you know how i get on

Mk 2 and Mk3 locator boxes do not pick-up the Mk1 collar .

 

The Mk1 box will pick up both Mk2 and Mk3 collars though up to 10 or 11 feet

They relied on a very flickery Led display and some funny noises to gauge the depth . As far as functionability went they were worse than some of the early attempts to build locators in the sixties and early seventies .

Deben had to return to MK1 technology and reinstate the sensitivity knob to create the Mk3 before too many folk started complaining .

Is the mk2 finder a grey box like the mk1 r did it resemble the mk3? sorry for all the questions
