Predator Polymag Hunting Pellets

Recommended Posts

I've not tried them yet, but I have heard that they are good for those hardcase squizzers.

They do look a bit gimiky as you say, but I like the look of a depleated uranium tank round comming from a sub 12 :gunsmilie:

Having said that, there are some bullets (not pellets) that have a very sharp polymer tip on them such as (and I could be corrected here!) Vmax

If you give them a try, please put up your results for us all.

I havent tried them but my thoughts are sure they may be quite devastating on impact (gimmic in that sense), but at a cost of accuracy, which is the most devastating tool in itself. I may be wrong but nothing beats a well suited to your barrel rounded/domed head pellet :)

You'll never beat led I'm afraid.

From what I remember they are lead (but I could be corrected on that)

They are like a wad cutter with a Polymer spike that sticks out the front.

I believe the polymer tip is designed to penetrate bone and the lead (if what I have read is correct) spreads.

The .22's are 16 grain so I am tempted to give them a try on paper to see what the grouping is like :hmm:
