dimmer swtich off a deben lamp

has anyone got an old deben lamp lying around thats broken ..im after a dimmer control switch off 1

just been looking on the deben site as well mate 33 quid if no one has an old switch im gonna get 1 like

Well worth getting one Gary.

 

I got mine and havent looked back since.

 

i also have just got a amber filter and the handle that makes the Tracer Max into a hand held.

 

Handy for Dylan when he is lamping for me with the dimmer switch.

 

Im mastered a good technique with the dimmer switch mate that may be worth trying as i have a 100% success rate with it.

 

1. Turn the lamp to the minimun brightness that you need to see a rabbits eye at the distance you want to shoot at.

 

2. As soon as you are in range and have the rifle steady slowly turn the lamp up with the dimmer till you can see it clearly in the cross hairs, but still not more than half power.

 

The rabbits are not frightened and will sit for the head shot.

 

Works a treat pal and it saves loads of power on the Tracer Max battery pack.
