Best head torch

Hi anyone know of what head torches are good for lamping with my gas ram air rifle it needs to

be cheap as I am building a dh bike cheers lads

can I ask why you want a head torch for lamping and not a scope mounted??

Hi, mate.

 

I use a LED Lenser. Adjustable beam width and strength, light and comfy enough to wear. £40 off ebay. Not cheap for a head torch but a top bit of kit.

Cheers mate I want a head torch because a scope mounted torch will affect my zero which causes all

sorts of problems. I think i have an LED lenser around somewhere maybe a battery change will make it better. Cheers

Sorry but I dont understand your last post......how can a scope mounted lamp affect your zero, its impossible!

Your scope is set to your required zero all you are adding is a light source

 

I use a Deben Tracer Max to good effect as do a few others I know and it hasnt effected the zero by 1mm

It may not but the weight of a lamp will effect how the gun recoils will it not? Springers are hold sensitive and a different weight will cause the gun to recoil in a different direction. However that is all theory so I may have to give a cheap eBay scope mounted lamp a try. Cheers
