We have had a number of 15 footers+ and always been on the money. A little thought before starting to dig will have alot of guess work at a later stage. " Spot on. The reading is lower because you are closer to the side of the dog, not necesarilly on top. Locating on steep banks takes alot of practice, and a fair degree of judgement. FTB Quote Link to post
