some dig TD.

a friend had a call earlier in the wk off a keeper, sayin he was hav in trouble, so we arranged to go dwn to help out, on arrival, the keeper pointed us in the direction of a big wooded area, as we go

Glad you got your dog back mate

But imo another case of the B&F turning a bad job in to a nightmare they never bring you in on the dog on steep bankings

Hi mate, I know guys who tape a 15ft Ferret Micro Collar to the B&F one. It took me ages to transfer to the B&f Kit, but my mobility problems made my mind up for me!! Most depths are well within 15ft, but you do a lot less travelling around the place looking with B&F.

Looks like a fair dig TD, glad you got your dog back and nice to have people you can call on, if everything was as it should be.............would it have been maybe 15ft or so?..............

What i have found on bankings with the B+F that people make the mistake of going to the lowest reading when flat to the slope. You are best off going to the lowest reading on a horizontal plane. We have had a number of 15 footers+ and always been on the money. A little thought before starting to dig will have alot of guess work at a later stage. :notworthy: They just take a little getting used to thats all, just think, with the old Deben you would have been lucky to even get a Blip!! :icon_eek:

Glad the dogs safe and well.. :victory:
