J Darcy 5,871
That is typical of Lincolnshire Police! If the farmer had reported the criminals for coursing then they would have been there in ten minutes! How can a police Force lack rescorces when it has the relatively minor crime of "Hare coursing" on the top of their list. I was speaking to a police officer the other day about this and they told me that coursing is a number one priority. Never mind sodding burglars then! Make no wonder this countries a joke!!!...JD
Lee85 44
i'm glad he got off with it, i'm also a bit mythed at how them two brothers who beat the shit out a bloke with a cricket bat- who tied them and their family up got sent down, well one has since been released but his brother is still in, what happened to an englishmans home is his castle and all that
CountryHOG 0
If only you knew the half of it, the farmer was a great old boy, one of a kind. YES he was in the wrong for having the gun, yes he was in the wrong for shooting at two very well known career criminals, thankfully the jury and the judge were on the ball and could see why he had done it. Anyone out there think he should go to prison, well your too late as he is no longer with us unfortunately. Dont know how this item has suddenly cropped up as it was several years ago when it happened, so dont go trying it now as the rules of fair play may well have changed. Why has this come up again? The date in the mail is 2010 yet this one http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/1401124/Farmer-who-shot-intruder-walks-free.html is dated 2002. i know the mail likes stirring it up but this seems a very cynical ploy. Unless someone has edited the dates? Well spotted Swampy Strangening

Well spotted Swampy Strangening Some people have said that it was a shame the thieving shits that he shot at werent killed or otherwise so seriously injured that they would suffer like the poor victims of crime those two tw@@ts have put through hell when they've robbed and done them over. Its not often i lose my rag but the two shits involved take the f in piss and get away with it because the courts i aint got the balls to do them over properly......C<*ts they are. At least the farmer had a decent finish in life.
Lab 10,979
If anyone on here has the unfortune to wake up in the middle of the night to burglars it must be a scary thing. If you then contact the police and they say that they cant come out unless a report of burgarly has been made then you should simply say "Ok officer thanks for your help, al just go and grab my gun and take a look for myself". They will be there quick as a flash.
