8 Well lamped rabbits

Hi everyone,

 

I decided to take Dylan out lamping again tonight for an hour and a half onto my old work permission to see if any rabbits were out in the fog.

 

Sure enough the rabbits were out in their masses so we managed to get some good footage on scope camera.

 

Only 8 minutes left to film now and Pure Air Rifle Hunting is finished.

 

As you will see from the footage Dylan is coming on leaps and bounds now, this I believe is due to his great interest in hunting with an air rifle.

 

All 8 rabbits were lamped by him which isnt bad for a 9 year old, as lamping is a skill that needs to be learnt and is not just a case of shining a lamp at a bunny and hoping that it sits and smiles at you while you shoot it.

 

Colour of filter, brightness of your lamp at certain points throughout the shot and position of the beam are all skills that need to be focused on to ensure the hunter gains a good size bag.

great shooting buddy and very weldone dylan it can be tricky lamping matey but dylan you have it as an art buddy weldone again and si cracking shooting and great video again cant wait to see your new dvd when will you be sending it out matey ? i am out shooting sat so i hope to have a few pictures for ya to see on sunday matey.

that sounds good matey i am looking forward to watching it matey and my lad keeps asking when do we get to see si's new film lol he has really took alot on from what you have said and shown matey and his shooting is very good to he was in the garden the other day and said next has a squizzer in there garden so off he went back in the house came out with peanut butter and said there you go matey come and have dinner with us so now he is waiting for him to come over to our garden just to have him lol

Yes mate, i think some of the lads and regulars should shoot some video footage and entertain us a bit

 

I'm over the moon with Dylans knowledge now when it comes to hunting.

 

i think he will be a good person to teach his kids when he is older going by what he knows now and what he can do.

These videos just get better and better.

 

It must be really difficult getting on aim looking through the videocam screen, particularly in low light.

 

Can't wait for the next DVD - my finger is hovering over the Paypal button!
