fitchet 788
hi mate i use my lurcher for longnetting\gatenetting and the way i trained was i got him out ferreting with the longnet dring the day and every time a rabbit hit the net i would despatch it and tell to get on\leave it and he would carry on hunting up\go back to the bury and this seemed to work. you need a dog that is goig too respect the net and not stay with that rabbit i only really use him for gate netting now as a dog is essential for that Quote Link to post
