I grew up with this breed my parents had them when I was a kid then myself also when I left home my parents was thick as pig shit! U could not let the 28 inch dog of the lead it just ran in a strait line and would not come back.he would fight with any dog that came near.I took mine mooching and he was a good hunter and would only come back when he was ready to do so.like my parents he was a fighter and I was the only 1that could control him.will never own 1 again thick stuburn fighting liabilatys.as for puting one into a lurcher make up I pearsonaly wouldent bother that's just my opinion.

Are lurchers running dogs or just big mutts ? For me a lurcher wants to be fast agile and intelligent to start with ...this cross won't give anything to those 3 attributes and for the life of me i can't think of anything else an akita could pass on that would be useful but hey this is THL...lets flood the dog world with more sh1te
