Go to your chemist and ask for some polytar, its made for people who suffer from itchy, flaking scalps, eczema, seborrhoea, psoriasis and problem dandruff.

it is fantastic stuff, stinks - but worth it, then if you can get hold of some seaweed powder, most horse places sell it,

thats good for the coat and skin.

My bitch was a mess when i got her and used umpteen vets shampoos and potions etc.I found the bodyshops honey shampoo and conditioner done the job quickly and whatever the issue was it hasnt returned and that was about a year and a half ago.Leave the conditioner on for 3 or 4 mins then rinse its soothing to the skin and helps protect it with a barrier type idea and theres nothing in to to agrevate the dog

Allways though of tea tree oil as one of those hippy remedy thingys but have read some real good stuff about it...absords into the skin so it works better and more efficiante than some creams think it may also be the 'mineral oil' that is the base for Nu-stock...also worth a mention when people say feed BARF because it may be a allergy to cereals...have seen a few dogs recently that where allergic to chicken!

Cereal allergy, try BARF diet or a cereal free food and turn your central heating down or off.

she was in in my kennels when this started mate a only moved her up home when it got worse

Could it be demodeptic mange .. i believe stress can trigger it .. maybe the move has stressed the dog out

My beddy has skin problems, she can't eat meat or cerial so i feed her fish4dogs, made from just fish, potatoes and beet.

Along with half a piriton tablet when required she is so much better and her coat is twice as thick.

all a carrier is in reality is a base such as almond oil that you mix things like lemon oil into it
