i think everyone needs to know the full make up of the dogs, i was talking to a mate today about your litter, the thing we agreed on is you tend to mention more about the show side of things instead

You should have knocked hell out of her a little more when yall was younguns.

yes its the first litter for me but my brothers rearing the pups as iv got two young children i know that my self but hes only bread terriers and he dont understand the lurcher world by the sounds of it .

i was just telling people the truth of corse you want to know all whats in the dogs and what they work i bread the dogs for my own use as both parents are cracking working dogs and yes i would prove that my dogs work but the dam is not ready yet as my brother is just building he back up from the pups atb jenna

you tend to mention more about the show side of things instead of what sire dam does work wise and as you have stated working homes only

i think most working dog lads are more interested in the work side rather than show.

just my oppinion and not a criticisum

Just reviewed your advert again. Good luck in getting them sold. As the above poster mentioned, there is a lot of emphasis on the show success yet you are demanding working homes only. Are your dogs well respected working dogs locally? If so, local buyers or people you know from the shows might be a better market for them or people looking for pets, as you obviously have taken good care of them and want good homes, they may be worth considering. You mention you are willing to show your bitch working but she is not fully fit, obviously, as she has just had her pups. I think if potential buyers know for a fact that she was a well renouned worker prior to her breeding, rather than taking your word for it. Buyers may choose to go for a pup from parents with a proven reputation or previous successful litters. I think they sound good and may have been interested if the time had been right and I had been closer. They sound well reared.

This is not meant as critisism at all before anyone takes it the wrong way,but unless you bred the ancestors of these pups i doubt you really know whats in them 100%.

If youre relying on what breeders told you when you bought the sire/dam it all gets complicated and sometimes out and out lying is involved.

It can happen quite innocently what if the breeder of your sire was lied to when he bought their ancestors..ect,

Best thing to do is tell people they are a mixture of what you know for a fact is in them imo,and be honest about the performance of the parents.

Its like my old bitch [10] my mate who bred her went back to a dog called the beast a saluki hybred and the dam was a mixture of the caithness dogs [small whippet types]and another noted lamp dog of peddigree unknown and he strugeld a bit to find homes streight away and was only asking £80 for them and lads would have sooner paid double that for a pup of a puppy farmer.Good luck with finding homes for yours.atb dell
