LABS FACE SWOLLEN

Recommended Posts

Was out with my lab lastnite around a flight pond where she has been loads. when i got her out of the van her lips were very swollen and one of her eyes were almost closed. i took her to the nearest vets which was a PDSA but because i am not on housing benifits they would not see to me even though i said i would pay. Got to a 24 hour vet and they told me it was an allergic reaction and to bathe it with cold towels even tho i mentioned i had seen a couple of toads the previous day even tho it was freezing. Has anyone else came across this and would it be worth getting a second opinion. the dog is fine within herself but has been sick and is still swollen
