festa 206 Posted February 2, 2010 Report Share Posted February 2, 2010 law changed in jan this year mate starlings are on general licence but for trap and release only not for shooting (you can shoot them but only when a special licence has been issued these birds have also been added to the general list BUT for trap and release only by the following means a. a cage or net trap, b. a static mist-net for taking birds in flight or any hand-held net; c. any sound recording in conjunction only with a) and above. house sparrow starling robin blackbird and here the link you might want to look at buddy http://www.naturalengland.org.uk/ourwork/regulation/wildlife/licences/generallicences.aspx atb gary Quote Link to post
