ulverston moocher 60
Hi, There are a few good books on ferrets that cover all aspects of keeping and working ferrets there is one by ian c rickard ferrets and ferreting thats quite good he goes through housing, breeding, ailments and covers just about everything. but before breeding I would seriously look at your options if you dont need to breed then I wouldnt but if you are hell bent on breeding make sure you have homes for the kits and dont plan on making big money out of breeding because you will be disapointed. whilst pregnant the jill will eat more and if you get half a dozen kits then thats half a dozen more mouths to feed and lots of handling and time is essential, as for the money side you need to make sure you have enough put a side for a trip to the vets in case of any problems and for the extra feed if you havnt got a readily available supplie hope this is helpfull. atb.
