There are a few threads about the Beddy Xs.

One been about it been an allrounder.

What is an allrounder?

Is it a dog that can catch all quarry time after time ,

Or is it a dog that can be used for different jobs ?

ie ferreting, lamping, bushing, daytime work(shooting, beating, picking up,Driven) and also working alongside or in conjunction with Terriers.

 

If the latter, then I would say BeddyGrey1st X ..

Yes the beddy/grey is the allround rabbit dog like most other lurchers

I never mentioned rabbits.

And never mentioned pot filler in this thread.

What I do mean though is a dog(lurcher) for a lot of Jobs.

my idea of an all rounder is a dog of maybe 26inch ( breeding not importants if it does ) rabbit hare fox deer on all types of land through out country.. be fast and have good wind and retrive back to hand. only my opinion though lol..

Ive never really seen many run, but would love to bring a pup on of this type, though finding One would be hard theses days, Or perhaps not.

a good alleounder mate is a bull x they will do rabbit, hare, fox and deer i have had them 4 a number off years now and never been let down by one yet mate

bull x wont do many hares mate, maybe on the lamp but not a good daytime hare.

 

what bull x have you had if any saluki in there i will take my comment back.

i think i bullx is more of an allrounder then most as it will do all 5 day or night and give it its best trying. Salukis just trotting brhind game would annoy me, i like a quick catch and kill.

i like the lurcher to lurcher crosses abit of everything i think there the best all rounders by far
