I think this is a fantastic idea, i have already sent the link to my other half telling him i want to do it!!!! Although i grew up around working lurcher (mainly hare coursing) i have never seen the art of ferretting, i would LOVE to take it up but wouldn't know where to start, i would love to come on this 'holiday', teach my dog what to do but more importantly, for me to learn what to do, you may be hearing from us soon thumbs.gif

Hope you find more rabbits then us ,we work hundreds of acres round hereford, tarrington, bosbry, and mixy has hit them hard this season.

big bags last few seasons, this time hard work for small bags even on fresh ground and farms we left for a season............................atb .steve

its not the mixy ,its some one i know who got a better than average dog ,that is causing the lack of rabbits around there :whistling:

If youlads dont want to go ferreting there is talk of packages ie 2 nights lamping or for the ferreting boys 2 days ferreting. may be some clay shooting aswell involved. also may have the chance to do some paint balling. the lakes will be open aswell
